May is National Asthma and Allergy Awareness Month, spotlighting a peak season for asthma and allergy symptoms as pollen and other allergens come out in full force.
The 2013 Dog Olympics will be held this Sunday, April 14. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the University of Minnesota’s Leatherdale Equine Center and is hosted by the U of M College of Veterinary Medicine’s Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association.
Event-goers are encouraged to bring their dog to participate in the day’s games and contests including an obstacle course challenge, best trick competition, costume contest, high jump challenge, doggie relay race and more. Prizes will be awarded.
