About the Academy for Excellence in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning
The AHC Academy for Excellence in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning recognizes AHC faculty who have demonstrated excellence in the educational mission of the Academic Health Center. Faculty members inducted into the Academy have demonstrated exceptional scholarly contributions to advance learning in their schools and across academic programs in the University of Minnesota.
In 2012, up to four faculty members will be selected as inductees into the AHC Academy for Excellence in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. Those selected will receive a recurring annual augmentation of $10,000 for five consecutive years and a lifetime membership in the Academy. This augmentation can be accepted as salary or used to support academic programs.
