The University of Minnesota Academic Health Center is home to six colleges and schools providing education, research, outreach, and clinical care across the health sciences.
The University of Minnesota School of Dentistry is the only dental school in the northern tier of states between Wisconsin and the Pacific Northwest. We are a regional resource to five states for dental education, service, and treatment.

Located on the Twin Cities and Duluth campuses, the College of Pharmacy is a national leader in education, practice and policy. Established in 1892, we are the only pharmacy school in Minnesota and are currently ranked #2 among all pharmacy schools in the nation.
The School of Public Health — the only top 10 school of public health between Chicago and Seattle — advances excellence in research, education, and outreach for the protection, restoration, and promotion of health, well-being, security, and safety.
One of the nation’s top veterinary schools, the college offers comprehensive, hands-on programs for DVM, MS and PhD students. More than 150 faculty members lead about $30 million worth of research projects annually. Its hospitals, clinics and diagnostic laboratories are among the busiest service centers of their kind in North America.
