Edward Greeno, MD, is a professor in the Department of Medicine's Division of Hematology, Oncology and Transplantation. Dr. Greeno is the Medical Director of the Masonic Cancer Clinic at the University of Minnesota, and Executive Medical Director for University of Minnesota Cancer Care,  with expertise in the development and management of care systems for cancer patients. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Masonic Cancer Center. His primary interest is in treatment of gastrointestinal malignancies, including rare tumor types such as neuroendocrine tumors and appendix cancer. He is an investigator on numerous therapeutic trials for gastrointestinal cancers ranging from large multinational trials which have led to the approval of new treatments, to first in human trials of new agents developed at the University of Minnesota.
